Ian has over 30 years of surveying and valuing experience. He specialises in Valuations (Tax Related / CGT/ ATED / Probate / Current and Retrospective) / Building Surveys / RICS Homebuyer Reports.

Ian is a highly experienced, diligent multi-disciplined Building Surveyor and Registered Valuer obtaining RICS accreditation in the late 1980s. His first foray in the London property market was, coincidentally, alongside our founding partner Fraser Maldoom at Barnard Marcus.

He was very influential in his early career developing the GA Valuation and Survey platform which subsequently morphed into E.Surv Chartered Surveyors, now one of the country’s largest providers of residential property risk expertise and surveying services. Ian went on to create the surveying practice of Norwich and Peterborough Building Society (Hockleys), and latterly held positions at Head of Residential Valuation Department at Mann Smith in Whitehall after moving to Kinleigh Folkard and Haywards (now KFH, one of London’s largest Estate Agency practices)

Ian’s vast experience enables him to offer both Residential and Commercial Building Surveys and RICS accredited Residential Valuations in Prime Central London and inner and outer London Boroughs.
